Dear participant in Denmark Open Air 2026
We look very much forward to seeing you in a few weeks in Vildbjerg, Denmark.
This email is to share a few practical information with you prior to your arrival.
Arrival:
When you arrive, please go to the Competition Office and collect your start numbers and accreditation.
For coaches/team officials and helpers you will need to register upon arrival to receive your accreditation, it is also possible to pre-register at this link: OFFICIAL REGISTRATION
The Competition Office opens Wednesday at 7:30 and Thursday 7:00.
Rules:
Based on the fact that ESC has decided that the upcoming European Championship will be held according to the rules from before 2026, Denmark Open Air will follow this decision.
However, there will be test station, where you can test stiffness and thickness according to the 2026 rule book. It is voluntary and will not affect your participation in Denmark Open Air.
The mixed team competition will adhere to the new technical rules 6:18-6.18.4.4
Access to qualification and final hall:
To avoid any disturbances in the qualification hall, it will not be allowed to enter the hall until earliest 40 minutes prior to the competition starting time.
Furthermore, only coaches and helpers with relevance to the relay in action, will be allowed at the qualification and final hall. All others are referred to the audience area.
Equipment and weapon storage
It is possible to store shooting bags and equipment in the changing rooms assigned to the shooters. The changing rooms will be locked every evening and opens at the same time as the shooting range. Weapons may NOT be left behind and cannot be stored with us.
Joined Dinner Friday
If you would like to join the joined dinner Friday, please register at this link: DINNER.
The dinner is for shooters, coaches and others accompanying the shooters as well as the competition volunteers. We hope you will join us for a nice evening.
Lane rental
If you arrive early and would like to use the facilities for training, it is possible to rent lanes Sunday, Monday or Tuesday from 10:00-17:00, at this link: LANE RENT
You can rent lanes for one or more days depending on your preference. The lanes will be available for you within the full timeframe.
Food and drinks
The venues cafeteria (at the venue reception area) will be open every day. Here it is possible to buy light food, such as sandwiches, salad, sausages, French fries etc.
Furthermore, it is possible to buy a proper meal for both lunch and dinner. You can pre-order this to ensure the food is ready for you, please order directly at the venue by sending an email to: vildbjerg@sportscenter.dk
The kiosk next to the competition office will be open Thursday-Saturday approximately between 8:00-16:00. Here it will be possible to also buy light food, snacks, coffee and beverages.
Emergencies:
In case of fire alarm, please use the closet exit (marked with green exit signs) and gather at the parking lot in front of the halls.
If anyone gets into a serious accident, or gets hurt seriously, please call 112, which is the Danish Emergency service. The competition crew will be ready to assist you.
If anyone gets minor injuries, please go to the competition office for assistance.
