Who are we

Denmark Open Air is Denmark’s largest international air rifle and air pistol competition. The event takes place at Vildbjerg Sports- og Kulturcenter, where the sports arena provides the perfect setting for a world-class competition.

The competition is held every year in week 7, from Wednesday to Saturday. Wednesday is dedicated to the Mixed Team competition.

Denmark Open Air was first held in 2019. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the competition was paused in 2021 and 2022. Since 2023, we have been back on track and continue to grow each year.

The event is organized and hosted by Talentcenter Vest and is run entirely by volunteers. Parents of our shooters, members from other shooting clubs, and people from the local community all contribute their time and effort. They are the backbone of Denmark Open Air, and without them, the competition would not be possible. All volunteers wear Denmark Open Air shirts, making them easy to recognize during the event.
